DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Strategy & Execution
Develop and implement effective regional sales strategies in alignment with company objectives.
Set monthly and quarterly sales targets and ensure achievement through active monitoring and field support.
Identify market opportunities, monitor competitor activities, and recommend effective market penetration strategies.
Team Leadership & Management
Lead, coach, and mentor the regional sales team to meet individual and team performance targets.
Conduct regular training and performance evaluations to ensure team effectiveness.
Foster a culture of accountability, motivation, and professional development.
Client & Distributor Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, wholesalers, and retail customers.
Negotiate commercial terms with distributors and ensure timely order placements and stock replenishment.
Resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely, professional manner.
Market & Sales Reporting
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales activities and prepare detailed performance reports.
Analyze sales trends and forecast future demand to inform inventory and logistics planning.
Provide market intelligence and feedback to the senior leadership team for decision-making.
Compliance & Brand Representation
Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements governing alcohol sales in the region.
Represent the company and its brands in a professional manner during trade visits and promotional events.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. A diploma with strong field experience will also be considered
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in alcohol distribution sales or FMCG, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment
Deep understanding of the alcohol distribution ecosystem, including trade channels and licensing
Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with sales CRM tools
