Duties and Responsibilities.
- Quickly assess and prioritize patient conditions upon arrival.
- Manage basic life support needs and stabilize patients based on nursing standards and protocol ensuring timely escalations.
- Determine the appropriate level of care and urgency for treatment based on clinical guidelines.
- Monitor and document vital signs and provide continuous patient care during emergency interventions ensuring timely escalations.
- Report adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Nursing KRCHN or Bachelor of Science in Nursing BScN.
- Higher Diploma in A&E.
- Valid Nursing Council of Kenya License.
- Valid ACLS/ BLS Certification.
- Minimum 1 Year of relevant working experience, preferably in a busy private hospital set up.
- Commitment to providing high quality care and excellence.
- Excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to remain calm, focused, and efficient under pressure.
