Kenya Rhino Range Expansion (KRRE)

KRRE is a pioneering conservation initiative dedicated to expanding rhino habitats while driving economic growth and uplifting communities. KRRE comes at a critical time when existing rhino sanctuaries have exceeded their carrying capacity, representing a once-in- a-generation opportunity for Kenya to bring the species back from the brink of extinction by re-introducing the species to their ancestral habitats. To do so sustainably, KRRE will work in partnership with communities, government and the private sector to restore thousands of acres of land, create fulfilling jobs, and create meaningful economic growth. KRRE has been established to lead the charge on this ambitious mission and will work in close partnership with the Kenya Wildlife Service and other partner organizations, with an initial geographic focus on Tsavo and Central Kenya. To achieve its ambitious mission, KRRE is assembling a team of dynamic professionals who are self-starters and ready to drive impact on the ground.
